This image is taken from my hand made collage evoking a dreamy, other worldly feel of a fairy sleeping amidst the poppies.
I used lots of layering of pressed flowers, petals, leaves and remnants of old victorian costume textile and sequins, vintage buttons and the word 'Dream' stamped onto paper and pasted at the bottom of the collage (you have to look closely!)
I love the purples, lilacs, blues and mother of pearl shell tones all complementing one another and lending to a feeling of relaxation and repose.
